SIEM REAP ADVENTURE ON BIKES AND CAMPING 6DAYS 5 NIGHTS

Day1: Siem Reap – Arrival (Cycling: 45km, Kayaking: 2 hours)                                       
On arrival at Siem Reap International, meet our local guide and transfer to the hotel for check-in (Early check-in is NOT included and subject to hotel’s availability. Transfer by van from the hotel to West Baray, a man-made lake from the Angkor Period in the 11th. Century. We will start the cycle from West Baray down south along a small cannel to Tonle Sap Lake, witnessing daily activities of the local farmers. Once we arrive at the pier, we will leave our bikes to board a local boat. We will cruise down the floating village and transfer to kayaks for a 20 minute paddle trip. Lunch will be provided at a local floating house. We will board the boat once more to travel further into the lake and transfer to the kayaks for an hour trip through the mangrove forest. We will get back to our long tail boat to return to the pier and cycle back to Siem Reap via Phnom Krom. Dinner will be provided at a local restaurant

Day2: Siem Reap – Angkor Temples Cycling – Home Stay (Cycling: 35km)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out and transferring all luggage to the support truck.. Cycle to the West Gate of Angkor Thom City and visit the Terrace of Elephant and Bayon Temple. We cycle further via South Gate to Angkor Wat temple, where we will spend an hour visiting the biggest religious temple in the world. Eat lunch at a local restaurant before cycling to BanteayKdei, Ta Prohm, and Preah Khan Temples. Next we visit the local village and meet the host of our homestay. Have a welcoming dinner and interact with the host family before our overnight stay.

Day3: BanteaySamre – BanteaySrei – Phnom Kulen (Cycling: 55km)
After breakfast in the village, you will continue cycling to BanteaySamre temple and BanteaySrei Temple, which translates to “Citadel of the Women”. It is one of Angkor’s most significant structures with walls decorated with elaborate and remarkably preserved carvings. Eat lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, take a short break as we prepare to ride up to the top of Kulen Mountain Hill, a much more challenging part of the loop. On arrival at the top, we visit the 1000 lingas on the river bed and enjoy a swim among the waterfall. Continue to cycle to WatPreahKral where we will eat dinner and set up camp. We will spend the night just 4km from the waterfall area.

Day4: Kulen Mountain – BengMelea Temple (35km)                                                    
Breakfast will be provided on site. Be prepared for long cycle through the jungle and isolated villages along the Kulen Mountain range. It is a challenging loop containing narrow and rocky paths. The adventure will continue along the mountain range to SvayLeu, the loop needs to be taken gradually and at some points we may need to stop to walk the bikes. Lunchboxes will be provided for a stop to eat along the way. On arrival at SvayLeu we will also make a stop for snacks and drinks. Cycle a smooth 15 km to toBengMealea temple which is largely overrun by vegetation with the stone walls in ruins adding to its unique charm. Climb over stone blocks and walk through narrow passageways to explore BengMelea in full. Dinner and camping will be at the village of BengMelea area

Day5: BengMelea – Koh Ker – Siem Reap (Cycling: 65km)
Enjoy breakfast at the campsite. Today we take a long but smooth cycle 65km to Koh Ker Temple. On arrival we will eat lunch at local restaurant. After, we will cycle around to visit the temples of Koh Ker. The style of Koh Ker temple is different from the other temples in Cambodia having more of a resemblance to the ancient pyramids of Egypt. We return to Siem Reap town by support van. Check-in at the hotel before we enjoy refreshments and a farewell dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 6: Siem Reap Departure
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Take time to enjoy Siem Reap on your own before checking out and transferring
to the airport for departure.
